feeling the lack of rodeo

not just bullriding, because at least we get that on TV. But the local rodeo season is pretty much over until the stock show season starts in the late winter months. Thank God for Texas, where 4 of the biggest winter stock shows reside. We'll hit Ft Worth and Houston, and then Austin in March. San Antonio has too many season seat holders for us to get decent seats there, so we usually skip it.

We'll miss the rodeo in Waco this year, which is one of the few in Oct, because we made plans to see Tim McGraw (who trumps a small town rodeo, you have to know)

But I miss the fairs and corndogs and small time arenas already. Sniff
